How to easily Update your Apple TV firmware?
For Apple TV Generation 2/3-
- To start with the process, select Settings from the Apple TV’s home screen.
- Select the General option.
- Next, choose the option of Software Updates given on the screen.
- It’s also a good idea to make sure ‘Update Automatically’ is switched on so that your Apple TV is always updated.
- You there will be a prompt to download and install any updates that are available. Follow the on-screen instructions after selecting Download and Install.
- Launch Stan and try to stream again after the update has been installed and the Apple TV has been restarted.
Apple TV Gen 4-
- To initiate the process, first select Settings from the Apple TV’s home screen.

- After that select the Software Updates option provided on the screen.
- This is also a good idea to make sure that you enable Automatically Update so that your Apple TV is always up-to-date.
