  2. To view the device settings for the device you want to upgrade, select View/Edit.
  3. It’s a good idea to note down the device’s authentication code. The auth code is right below the image of your device on the device settings page.
  4. Towards the top of the page, click Upgrade your SPOT Device.
  5. In the Existing SPOT Device area, verify the ESN of the device you want to upgrade and provide the authentication code.
  6. Choose Next after entering the new device’s ESN and authentication code.
